Total PARCO continues to provide mentorship to women entrepreneurs with WRCI

On International Women’s Day 2022, Total PARCO signed an MOU with Women Resource Centre and Incubator (WRCI) – an initiative of Punjab Small Industries & Corporation, Government of Punjab in collaboration with Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry (WCCI) with a vision to enable and empower female entrepreneurs of the future.

Since 2022 and keeping in line with Sustainable Development Goals #5 and #8 for gender inclusivity and sustainable economic development, Total PARCO and its senior management has provided strategic capacity building sessions to the female entrepreneurs to enable them with valuable industry insight. These efforts emphasize bridging the gap between corporate and aspiring entrepreneurs and fosters an inclusivity in socio-economic growth. Total PARCO recently welcomed two batches of WRCI entrepreneurs at its head office where 50 women were included in a fresh round of mentoring sessions. The event was attended by TPPL CEO Mr. Asif Iqbal, who encouraged the entrepreneurs to grow their potential to become industry leaders. The event was also honored by the attendance of Ms. Farah Razak, Director C&CI at PSIC.

TPPL has now provided mentorship to over 120+ women, 15 of whom were directly sponsored by TPPL and 2 eventually went on to become partners in Welcome Convenience Stores.
