TOTAL PARCO Supports French Photo Exposition at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts

PNCA Expo

ISLAMABAD - November 19th, 2019: Total PARCO Pakistan Limited (TPPL) collaborated with the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) to support a photo exposition highlighting the works of French photographers in their travels across Pakistan.

At an exclusive showing in the PNCA on 19th November 2019 - on the second day of the Islamabad Art Fest 2019 - local and international artists and curators gathered at the exposition to engage in art activities of various genres, spanning several locations across the capital city. CEO TPPL, Mr. Olivier Sabrie and the French Ambassador to Pakistan, Mr. Marc Baréty officially unveiled the display, followed by a dinner attended by various distinguished guests.

Earlier in the year, the initial iteration of the display was held at the French Senate, attended by esteemed dignitaries and guests, amongst which included senior leadership executives from the Total Group.

The purpose of the exposition was to portray a side of Pakistan through the lens of professional French photographers who had traversed the country, capturing essence of the various regions. The exquisitely captured photography on display depicted the multifarious landscape of Pakistan, ranging from breath-taking mountainous views in the northern region to the vast deserts in the south. The display also revealed the rich heritage of the nation through photos of buildings and structures such as Derawar Fort that have stood as marvels for years, celebrating the beauty of the nation and its people.

The exhibition attracted over 300 visitors. The guests lauded the artistic efforts of the photographers in effectively capturing the spirit of Pakistan.

Total PARCO is proud to support this cultural initiative to promote cultural heritage and dialogue with the community.
